Vietnamese teams have won three gold, four silver and three bronze medals at five international sporting events organized in early March this year, according to the National Sport Administration.

The tournaments include the Asia-Pacific Taekwondo Invitational Championships in Philippines, the Asian teenage swords fighting champion in UAE, the International Judo Tournament in Hong Kong, China, the U15 Football Championships in China, and the International Tennis Federation’s (ITF) Junior Group 1 tournament in Thailand.
The results the Vietnamese teams have reaped so far this year are encouraging signs in the lead up to the 28th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Singapore, said an official from the administration.
