On March 7th, the Ao dai festival 2015 opened at Dam Sen park, Ho Chi Minh city under the theme “Ho Chi Minh City – the city of Ao dai”. This second festival was held by Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism in coordination with Ho Chi Minh city Department of Culture and Sports, Ho Chi Minh city DepartmentEducation and Training and Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Union. It was an opportunity to glorify traditional cultural identities and the beauty of Vietnamese ao dai; and introduce Ao dai models of different historical periods, creating a cultural exchange between Ao dai designers and the public.
