Local firm launches free tourism app about Vietnam

NFS Mobile Solutions launched a free smart phone application to provide tourism information about major tourist destinations in Vietnam.


Da Nang, Vietnam – The Essentials Guide is the first in a series that will deliver concise and up-to-date information about all of Vietnam’s major tourist destinations, as well as off-the-beaten path locales, according to the company.


The applications are produced by independent contributors and illustrated with original photography.


The application is currently available for iOS devices.


According to Chuck Palazzo, CEO of NFS Mobile Solutions, Da Nang, Vietnam – The Essentials Guide the first in a series of travel-related applications and is free to download.


Palazzo, a US veteran and active member of the Agent Orange Action Group, remains dedicated to seeking medical, financial, ecological and legal assistance for Vietnamese victims of Agent Orange.


Nearly 1.8 million tourists visited Da Nang in the first half of this year, a 15.8 percent increase over last year. Nationwide, 33.4 million tourists visited Vietnam this year, including 3.3 million foreigners.
