Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang’s 110th birth anniversary solemnly celebrated

Hai Duong province on April 2 solemnly held a ceremony to commemorate the 110th birth anniversary of Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang.

Hai Duong province on the morning of April 2 solemnly held a ceremony to commemorate the 110th birth anniversary of Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang (April 2, 1904 – 2014) in Thanh Tung commune (Thanh Mien).

The ceremony was opened with a special art program praising the Party, Uncle Ho, native land, country, and Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang performed by Hai Duong Cheo (Traditional Operetta) Theatre actors.

Then, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Bui Thanh Quyen delivered a speech highlighting Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang’s career and great merits to Vietnam’s revolution. He affirmed that Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang was an eminent political activist, one of the excellent students of President Ho Chi Minh, an unyielding and indomitable revolutionary soldier having both intelligence and courageousness.

The provincial Party Committee Secretary called upon the province’s Party organizations, army, and people to follow the shining example of Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang, further bring into play ability, intelligence, and heroic tradition, determinedly strive, unite, seize opportunities, overcome challenges, step up patriotic emulation, successfully complete objectives and tasks in all fields, continue to gain greater achievements in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, endeavor to successfully perform the 15th provincial Party Congress’s Resolution, join the whole country in successfully realizing the cause of national industrialization and modernization for the goal of a prosperous people and a strong, democratic, just, and civilized country.

Addressing the anniversary, Mr. To Huy Rua, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Central Party Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission, emphasized that Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang was an elite child of Hai Duong, an exemplary and loyal communist soldier among the first soldiers of the Vietnam’s revolution, a student and the earliest comrade of President Ho Chi Minh.

Elder brother Nguyen Luong Bang is a symbol of exemplarity and purity, a great example to Vietnamese communists.

Mr. To Huy Rua asked Hai Duong’s Party organizations and people to bring into play the long-standing tradition, follow the revolutionary moral example of comrade Nguyen Luong Bang, continue to win many new victories, deserving to be the native land of communist soldier Sao Do.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Binh, Member of the Central Party Committee, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, the unit funding the construction of Nguyen Luong Bang Exhibition House and Library, also mobilized the entire officers, workers, employees, and laborers in the banking sector to actively learn and follow the shining example of industriousness, thrift, integrity, and righteousness of comrade Nguyen Luong Bang, the first Director-general of the Vietnam National Bank.
