Nam to play Singh in Mens Futures today

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Unseeded Vietnamese player Ly Hoang Nam will play sixth seed Karunuday Singh of India in the second round of the International Tennis Federation Malaysia F1 Mens Futures in Kuching today.

Nam, 17, is ranked No 49 in the world junior rankings, while Singh, 23, is No 448.

Nam won6-4, 6-4 over Jeson Patrombon of the Philippines in the first round. Later, Singh beat Canadian Kelsey Stevenson7-6 (5), 7-6 (3).

The Malaysian Mens Futures tournament, which ends on Sunday, will award US$15,000 to the winners. – VNS
