Feast your eyes on unique photos of Vietnam”s islands and coasts

With over 3,000 kilometres of coastline, Vietnam has countless beaches of pristine white sand, azure bays, and lush tropical islands, all calling your name.

Tourists are falling in love with Vietnam’s islands and coasts at first sight – and pictures seem to be the only medium to convey the moments.

Gian Thanh Son, journalist and photographer, is famous for his aerial photography (taking photos of the ground from the air), is preparing to launch a picture book named “Dao va Bien Que Huong” (the country’s islands and coasts), a collage of his artwork during the past 20 years.

For the past 20 years, Son has been flying across the country’s many islands and beaches, admiring the beauty of the coasts, the might of the islands from the north to the south and recorded that beauty through thousands of photographs. He has selected more than 400 of his best photos to fulfil his dream of introducing Vietnam’s beauty as he sees it to viewers.

Talking with VIR, Son said, “Through these photos, I would like to introduce the potential of tourism, culture, and economy of Vietnam to tourists, especially international visitors.”

Let’s admire Son’s artwork to learn more about Vietnam.
