Hundreds of thousands of visitors flock to Can Tho during Tet

The information was released by Nguyen Minh Tuan, Deputy Director of the Can Tho Municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on Feb. 10.

Accordingly, flower streets in the city received 410,000 visitors, its tourist attractions welcomed 375,000 ones while the tourist accommodation establishments served 72,200 customers.

During Tet, the food safety, fire prevention and social order were maintained while the tourism service improved significantly. Notably, the Municipal Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized various activities for tourists such as Tet experiencing programs, knowledge competitions about the traditional Tet, and so on.
