Visitors are mostly from Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai, Binh Duong and Ba Ria – Vung Tau provinces.
Major attractions in Da Lat, such as the city’s park, the Valley Of Love and Datanla waterfall, were filled with visitors.
However, the city recorded no overloading and traffic jams at those destinations.
Local authorities have instructed coaches heading to Da Lat to travel on Mimoza mountain pass instead of Prenn pass, to prevent congestion at the city’s gateway.
As one of famous resort cities in Vietnam, Da Lat embraces the typical natural and cultural features of the Central Highlands. The city, nestled at 1,500 metres above sea level, is quiet and pretty all year with mild climate and temperatures varying between 15 and 24 degree Celsius.
It is known by several names which all indicate its romantic beauty: “Little Paris”, “City of Pine Forests” and “Land of Mist”. But the name “Kingdom of flowers” is perhaps its most impressive and accurate. -VNA
