Phu Dien Cham tower, known locally as My Khanh tower, is located in My Khanh hamlet in Phu Dien commune, Phu Vang district in the central province of Thua Thien Hue. It was first discovered in April 2001 and located between 5 and 7 metres under the sand. Currently the tower has been conserved in a greenhouse that limits the negative impact of the environment. Phu Dien tower was recognized as a national relic site immediately after it was discovered. Conservation and preservation work got underway in 2005 and was completed in 2007. The architecture of the tower features a rectangle shape with a total length of 8.22 metres and width of 7.12 metres. It is one of the oldest preserved pieces of architecture among the remaining Cham towers in the central region. Beside the entrance of the tower is an altar.
