Kilorun Hanoi 2019, the first-ever Run, Eat, Fun in One Go event of international significance, is set to land at Ly Thai To park in Hanoi centre on March 2, 2019, targeting over 2,500 participants and helping to promote Vietnamese tourism.

The unique festival, to be jointly held by Index Creative Village – a leading integrated and creative marketing firm in the ASEAN region – AirAsia, AirAsia X, aims to launch the new concept of Run, Eat, Fun in One Go in Vietnam.
It follows the first series which was held in dominant Asian cities, namely Kilorun Bangkok Thailand and Kilorun Bali Indonesia and drew in veritable throngs of runners and food lovers, including Vietnamese people.
According to Kriengkarn Kanjanapokin, co-chief executive officer of Index Creative Village PLC and creative director of Kilorun, the main highlight of this event is that the contestants will be able fully enjoy the delicious dishes while running and passing the beautiful landmarks of iconic cities.
Kilorun Hanoi 2019 will be held under two categories, the KM (kilometre) category and the Kg (kilogramme) category. Runners can register for the KM category from 05.00 to 08.30 at Ly Thai To park, Hanoi.
The route will pass Hanoi’s iconic attractions such as, Ly Thai To Statue, Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi Old Quarter, Hanoi Opera House, and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, and is divided into three distances (L Run – 10.7km, M Run – 6.7km, and S Run – 2.3km).
Registration for the KG category is from 14.00 to 18.30. Runners can walk or run while tasting or eating the gorgeous food served at different landmarks of Hanoi on the 2.3 km route.

Airfares start from THB1,390 ($42.2) or VND1,028,000 ($44.6) or $50, with booking available until November 25, 2018.
Visitors who are interested in participating in Kilorun Hanoi activities can use a 6-digit booking code during the said travelling period to get a 20 per cent discount on the price of running tickets of each programme and also get a chance to win many rewards.
Furthermore, there are other special promotional flight routes available, such as Chiang Mai-Hanoi, Don Mueang-Ho Chi Minh City, and Don Mueang-Danang.
