Accordingly, the VITM will be held in April each year, in either Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, starting from 2020.
The fair’s themes will be announced by the MoCST, which are in line with market trends and requirements for tourism development.
The event will feature a minimum number of around 300 pavilions, including at least 25% from foreign partners.
The VITM is expected to offer an opportunity for localities, organisations and enterprises to promote their products and brands as well as develop their business relations.
Through the fair, Vietnam’s destinations will be introduced to both domestic and foreign tourists, contributing to developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector.
