The code-share routes include Ho Chi Minh City – Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City – Da Nang, Hanoi – Da Nang, and Hanoi – Osaka.
The code-share will be applied for domestic flights which depart from October 28, while the Hanoi – Osaka flights will be operated from November 8.
The partnership is part of a cooperation agreement signed by the two airlines in 2017. Accordingly, they will continue to expand the code-share flights on Vietnam – Japan routes and domestic routes in the two countries.
Vietjet Air is a private airline with the largest market share in Vietnam’s domestic market, with a high number of routes in the country and across the region.
JAL was founded in 1951 and was the first international airline in Japan. With more than 230 aircrafts, the airline has conducted code-share flights to 349 airports in 54 countries territories worldwide.
