According to the carrier on September 18, on its flight BL664 from Bangkok (Thailand) to Ho Chi Minh City, a steward spotted a passenger sitting on seat 19D showing signs of pain and short breaths when the plane was flying at a low altitude to prepare for landing at Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

The U.S. passenger has a history of heart disease and did not bring along medicine.
The cabin manager reported the case to the captain and sought medical assistance from any doctors aboard. Luckily, four doctors gave first aid in time to the sick passenger.
Immediately when the plane landed, the sick passenger was taken to a nearby hospital.
At present, he was discharged from the hospital with a stable health condition.
