Thecode, which consists of two sections, outlines social norms andresponsibilities of participating parties in the tourism sector, includingtourists, travel agencies, tour guides, accommodation facilities and localresidents, among others.
Eachparty is required to follow different sets of guidelines, which aim to demonstratethe friendliness and hospitality of Da Lat and Lam Dong province.
Thecode will also be implemented in other areas with tourism potential such as BaoLoc city and Lac Duong district.
LamDong province has about 1,300 accommodation facilities, 100 touristsattractions and 58 travel agencies, as well as thousands of groups andindividuals engaging in tourism services.
Forthis year, Da Lat estimates it will reach a total of 5.9 million tourists, with400,000 of them international visitors.-VNA
