According to the Department of Quang Ninh Provincial Tourism, the Ha Long – Quang Ninh Tourism Week 2017 will take place from April 28 to May 7, in Ha Long city and Mong Cai city.
The ‘Colourful Ha Long’ programme, highlight of the tourism week, is expected to be held at 8pm on April 28 at Ocean Park in Ha Long. The programme will see the participation of many famous singers in Vietnam, such as Dang Duong, Trong Tan, Tung Duong, Ho Ngoc Ha and Hoang Thuy Linh, as well as artists from Europe.
Organised by SunGroup, this year’s tourism week will feature a series of cultural, sports and tourism events in the two cities, such as the opening ceremony of 2017 Mong Cai Tourism Week, the 2017 Tuan Chau – Ha Long Asian Beach Volleyball Championship, and Quang Ninh provincial tennis tournament, in the province, Ha Long and Mong Cai.
In the framework of Quang Ninh-Ha Long Tourism Week 2017, a wide range of events will be held, including Soong Co singing festival in Binh Lieu district, badminton tournament in Dong Trieu Town, and the second Culture-Sport-Tourism week in Co To island district.
The Ha Long – Quang Ninh Tourism Week 2017 is not only an important event to promote the image, cultural values and landscapes of Quang Ninh province, but also contributes to enhance competitive capacity of tourism in the province.
This is also a good chance to strengthen the promotion for Ha Long Bay and other fascinating destinations in the province and raise awareness of heritage conservation among locals and tourists. The event is scheduled to welcome 500,000 tourists.
