The Vigracera Corporation on February 2nd inaugurated the project building the workers’ housing and service campus in the Yen Phong industrial zone in the northern province of Bac Ninh, providing accommodation for some 4,000 workers.

To realise its green and sustainable development target, Vigracera Corporation has planned to build modern social and technical infrastructure and an environment friendly ecosystem. The investor has put aside nearly 7,000 square metres of land to build cultural houses, kindergartens and parking lots; and over 23,800 square metres to build the traffic system, and over 13,000 square metres to plant trees and construct parks, playgrounds and sports yards.
Apart from providing accommodations, the project will support human resource training fees for enterprises using large numbers of laborers in the industrial zone. In particular, the campus will help laborers reduce the amount of road travel time, contributing to reducing traffic jams in peak hours.
So far, the country has completed the building of 179 social housing projects in urban and industrial zones, providing 71,150 flats.
During the inauguration ceremony, Minister of Construction Pham Hong Ha said that the building of houses for workers in industrial zones was a practical step to realize Bac Ninh province’s socio-economic development targets.
