Highlighting the role of the travel program, Russian Ambassador to Vietnam Konstantin Vasilevic Vnukov said this is an opportunity for Vietnamese travelers to explore the cities and regions of Russia. The unique travel tours in winter are expected to draw a large number of visitors to Russia in 2018.

Vice President of Vietnam Society of Travel Agents Phung Quang Thang noted that Vietnam and Russia are partners in various fields, including tourism. Through the program, Vietnam’s travel agencies could know more of Russia’s attractions and services, thus offering more travel destinations for Vietnamese as well as opportunities for cooperation with Russian businesses.

In the event, the Southeast Asia representative office of Russian Tourism Agency introduced some of Russia’s famous attractions in winter such as Republic of Tatarstan and its capital Kazan, the Republic of Karelia, northernmost Murmansk and Sochi city.
