Expat stops Vietnamese city bus, again

The man insisted a bus driver advancing against the flow of traffic remain at the scene until police arrived.

A 30-year old foreigner stopped Saigon bus driver from proceeding against traffic on Dinh Tien Hoang in District 1, on Tuesday.

The expat cried out until police arrived; he left the scene soon after the driver stepped into the street and began cooperating with the officers.

Earlier this month, a young man also stopped a bus in the wrong lane of a Hanoi street, local media reported. He sat on his motorbike and played with his mobile phone until the bus backed down and returned to the proper lane.
