The website suggested visitors head to Chill Skybar and Apocalypse Now for a good night out.

According to Party In Sai Gon, a Vietnamese travel website for the young, in District 1 are many bars and clubs for young people who like electronic dance music, Hip-Hop and Deep house music, such as Basement, the Irish Club, Smokebox LoungeBar, QUI, Carman Bar, The Penthouse, Boheme Pub Saigon, Play Nightclub, Glow Skybar, Fusion Bar Lounge, Seventeen Saloon, LUSH Bar, Blanchy Tash, Xu Bar, Martini Lamson Bar, Vroom and Air360 Skybar.

Of these, Martini Lamson Bar inside the Park Hyatt Saigon Hotel is famous for its nightlife and serves a range of high-quality cocktails.

Xu Bar, meanwhile, has won many awards for its cocktails and food, attracting a host of famous people in fashion and showbiz. Blanchy Tash is considered a place for Asian women and Western men to meet and has delicious cocktails and friendly staff.

Party in Sai Gon also suggested places with unique décor and design, such as Buffet The Log and Glow Skybar, which have beautiful staircases, NinZ Lounge, which is decorated in Anime, Flex the Loft Bar and its sparkling reception area, the Irish Lounge with its impressive lighting effects, Mama restaurant with its gate of green grass, and Maxim’s Club, which is popular among middle-aged guests and boasts a vintage style.

Known as a city that never sleeps, nights in Ho Chi Minh City also attract tourists with pedestrian malls with fountains and beautiful views, all-night coffee shops, and the backpackers area around Pham Ngu Lao and Bui Vien streets, which has lots of pubs, bars, street food, and live music cafés.

On July 25, Business Insider, an international news website, voted Ho Chi Minh City as one of the 30 best cities in the world for foodies.

“Ho Chi Minh City is famous for its delectable varieties of banh mi – a French-inspired sandwich consisting of a baguette filled with meat and topped with fresh vegetables, daikon, pickled carrot, cilantro, and different sauces,” it wrote.

Ho Chi Minh City is now preparing for the 12th International Travel Expo HCMC from September 8 to 10.

The Expo will attract leading international travel bloggers from Denmark, France, Finland, Norway, and the UK, who will share their experience to promote tourism on social media.

In its eleven years the Expo has opened up cooperative opportunities in tourism for five tourism centers: Bangkok, Phnom Penh, Vientiane, Yangon, and Ho Chi Minh City.

This year the event is expected to attract over 30,000 participants, an increase of 20 to 30 per cent compared to last year.

Nguyen Bao Anh, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Promotion Center said that the city is trying to improve is tourism environment for tourists, ensuring security and supporting visitors.

State agencies will also cooperate with tourism agencies to support tourists, he added.
