Ho Chi Minh City to host international travel expo

The expo is expected to feature 270 booths along with the participation of travel agents, airlines, hotels and resorts from Brunei, Cambodia, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Netherlands, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and Vietnam, among others.

The event, one of the largest of its kind to be held in Vietnam will be organised at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre, offering a sound opportunity for both domestic and foreign enterprises operating in the field of tourism to expand connectivity and establish long-term co-operation.

It is also considered a good opportunity for local travel companies, especially small and medium-sized ones, to sign business co-operation contracts with foreign partners.

ITE-HCMC 2016 will feature a wide range of activities, including a seminar on socially responsible tourism, and workshop introducing tourism markets in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

ITE-HCMC 2016 is co-organised by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism.
