The one hour and 35 minute flight, on the 184-seat Airbus A321, will depart from Da Nang at 10.55 pm and from Bangkok at 1.45 am.
The carrier will offer four round flights per week every Monday, Wednesday, Thursdays and Sunday.
The route is the fourth international route departing from Da Nang, after routes to Siem Reap, Seoul and Tokyo. The route is expected to boost trade, especially tourism between Southeast Asia and the country’s central region through Da Nang.
On the occasion, Vietnam Airlines launched a promotional programme for passengers on the international route. The return ticket is priced at VND669,000 (US$29) for economy class and VND4.6 million (US$199) for business class.
The tickets will be sold from June 10 to July 10 for flights departing from June 26 to December 31. The prices do not include other fees and taxes. Passengers can visit the carrier’s website at http://bit.ly/1kWD6GD for further information.
