VietNamNet Bridge – After a long time of studies, Vietnamese and international experts have agreed that geological heritage of Quang Ngai’s waters is unique, worthy to be recognized as the Global Geopark.

Dr. Tran Tan Van, Director of the Institute of Geological and Mineral Sciences said the island of Ly Son, the waters of Binh Chau and the vicinity have unique geological strata, with the remains of the creation of the earth’s crust millions of years ago.
