The People’s Committee of the central province of Quang Nam and the Nam Hoi An Development Company Limited organized a press meeting to announce about the Nam Hoi An tourism complex with investment capital up to US$ 4billion.
The complex will cover an area of 985.6 hectares locating at three communes: Duy Nghia, Duy Hai (Duy Xuyen district) and Binh Duong (Thang Binh district).
It will officialy be started construction on April 23 and is expected to complete in 2035. The investors are VinaCapital and Gold Yield Enterprises.
Aside from main items such as conference & convention center, villa areas, apartments, trade complex, culture village, handicraft area, entertainment and other, the investors pledged to build a non-profit education item, aiming to train human resources for Quang Nam’s tourism industry and neiboring areas.
Mr. Le Minh Phuc, General director of the Nam Hoi An Development Co.Ltd said the project divided seven phases; of these; the first phase will be started on April 23 covering 163 hectares with investment capital of US$ 500million.
On the same day, the investors supported VND 1billion to Quang Nam’s Association for the Protection of the Disabled, Orphans & Poor Patients and Heartbeat Vietnam.
