K-Culture Supporters group to promote Vietnam-RoK ties

The Republic of Korea Cultural Centre has introduced a group of Vietnamese who will support culture cooperation between Vietnam and the RoK.

The 15-member group, entitled K-Culture Supporters, features outstanding Vietnamese youths such as actor Hong Dang, pianist Trang Trinh, food blogger Phan Anh and Korean language teacher Nguyen Le Thu.

Hong Dang became popular with his performance in the first Vietnamese and RoK television series production, entitled Forever Young, while Phan Anh was appointed a Korean Culinary Ambassador.

K-Culture Supporters will promote activities to boost cultural exchanges between Vietnam and the RoK.

“The cultural centre wants the members of K-Culture Supporters to be cultural ambassadors to popularise Korean culture in Vietnam,” Director of the centre Park Nark-jong said.

He said mutual understanding between peoples of the two countries will improve thanks to these Vietnamese youths.
