PANO – The Vietnamese physical training and sports sector has gained many encouraging achievements since the national reunification in 1975, especially since the implementation of the “Doi moi” (Renewal) process.
Physical training and sports movements hlep not only pocket more medals and certificates in international sports events but also to raise people’s awareness of cultural environment and healthy life-style.
Marking the sector’s 70th traditional Day (March 27th), Vietnamese people recalled the statement of President Ho Chi Minh: “Strong people keep the country prosperous”.
Over the past time, generations of coaches, athletes and all staff of sports sector and people interested in sports in general have made considerable contributions to the development of the country’s sports sector.
