PANO – Volendam, a Dutch-based cruise ship with about 1,400 tourists on board, docked in Nha Trang city’s port on February 8th, becoming the first cruise liner visiting the city of Khanh Hoa province in the Year of the Monkey 2016.

Among them, five tourists who landed first were presented with flowers and gifts by representatives from the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The passengers then took a tour around the city’s landmarks and trade villages.
The ship left Nha Trang at the end of the same day for Ho Chi Minh City.
In 2015, 48 boats brought 47,000 visitors to the province, an increase of 16,300 people against the previous year.
