(TITC) – Located on slope of a limestone mountain about 700m from public road, Dong Doi – means cave of bats or called “Nguom Ca Khao” (Lung Sum Hamlet, Dong Loan Commune, Ha Lang District, Cao Bang Province) is a mysterious and wild cave.
This is a large cave having million-year geological formation. The cave has the length of 930m and the average height from 60 – 80m. The entrance arch-shape gate is about 4m high and 7m wide. From the cave, visitors can contemplate imposing and natural scenery around and stilt-houses of Tay, Nung ethnic people far away.
The cave includes 3 chambers which are separated by cliffs. The first one has colorful and unique stalactites and many small lakes. The second one has stalactites with mountains, terraced fields, gold and silver falls shapes. The third one is in semicircular shape with many giant yellow stalactites like stone pillars proping up the ceiling of the cave.
In 2014, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism recognized Bat Cave as the National Scenery Relic.
