HA NOI (VNS) — Viet Nam’s national futsal team crushed Malaysia 3-2 in the second leg of a friendly match in HCM City on January 26.
The hosts had defeated the visitors 5-4 in the first leg of the match, which was held in preparation for the 2016 AFC Futsal Championship finals that would be held from February 10 to 21 in Uzbekistan.
The Viet Nam team left for Uzbekistan today to have a short training session for the event.
The team will meet Uzbekistan on February 1 and China on February 6.
At the AFC Championships, Viet Nam are in Group C with Thailand, Hong Kong and Tajikistan, while Malaysia are in Group D with Japan, Australia and Qatar.
