Superstar Virgo brings thousands of tourists to Da Nang

PANO – The Superstar Virgo liner, carrying 1,850 passengers from Hong Kong and Taiwan (China), has left the Tien Sa port in Da Nang city on January 7th.

This was the first voyage in 2016 that arrived at Vietnam’s Central tourist city after visiting Ha Long Bay in Quang Ninh province.

Visitors toured famous destinations in Da Nang, such as Linh Ung Pagoda, Cham Sculpture Museum and Ngu Hanh Son tourist area.

Other activities during their stay included seeing art performances at the Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong (Classical Drama) Theatre, shopping in Hoi An Ancient Town, and going sightseeing in Tra Que vegetable village and My Son sanctuary.

In January, the Saigon Travel Service Company (Saigontourist) is expected to welcome around 12,000 passengers and crewmembers from the Superstar Virgo, bringing the total number of domestic and international tourists to Vietnam by the company to 32,000 in the first month of 2016.
