300 gifts each worth VND1.3 million (US$58) were given to students who will stay in Ho Chi Minh City on Tet holidays because they are from faraway low-income families.

The Student Culture House in coordination with the Vietnamese High-quality Products Enterprises Association and Student Dormitory of Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) yesterday presented gifts to poor students who come from faraway provinces to stay in HCMC to welcome Tet holidays ( the Lunar New Year) at Phu Tho Sports Center in Ho Chi Minh City.

In addition, the Student Culture House has planned to liaise with other clubs and associations to conduct musical programs starting on January 26 in Duc Tin Commune in the central province of Binh Thuan’s Duc Linh District and the southern province of Tay Ninh’s Tan Bien District for students on the first days of the lunar new year.
