Hai Duong province welcomed over 3.6 million turns of visitors in 2015, up 20% over 2014, including 1.2 million turns of staying guests, an increase of 20% (consisting of 200,000 turns of international arrivals, a surge of 33%, and 1 million turns of domestic tourists, a rise of 17%), according to the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.

There were more than 2 million turns of visitors to Con Son – Kiep Bac relics, Tranh temple, and An Phu – Kinh Chu during each day of festivals at the beginning of the year.

The accommodation system was further strengthened. By the end of 2015, there had been over 140 accommodation establishments in the province with more than 3,000 rooms, including one four-star hotel, two three-star hotels, 15 two-star hotels, and five one-star hotels.

The province had 17 units involved in travel counseling and business (three of which were granted international travel business licenses) and more than 20 units investing in tourist transport with nearly 1,000 vehicles.

The tourism revenue in 2015 was estimated at VND1,650 billion, up 27% over 2014.
