InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort of Sun Group was recognized as the World’s Leading Luxury Resort 2015 at the Grand Final Ceremony of the World Travel Awards Worldwide Categories in El Jadida city, Kingdom of Morocco on December 13 after beating against 10 famous resorts such as Amanyara Villas Ayada, Cheval Blanc Randheli, Emirates Palace, Conrad Algarve from Turks & Caicos, Maldives, UAE (United Arab Emirates), California (the United States) and others.
Luxury villas are located at InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort.
The resort received the highest number of votes from travel professionals and tourism consumers of 100 countries and territories around the world to win the noble title.
The title was considered as the “Oscars” of the world tourism industry. This is the second times that InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort won the World’s Leading Luxury Resort of the World Travel Awards during two years in a row.
Speaking at the award ceremony, President of the World Travel Awards Graham Cooke stressed: “This year, InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort once again was recognized from leading travel professionals, showing that Vietnam’s tourism industry has been developing more and more”.
InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort is the five star luxury resort and spa, located at the Son Tra Peninsula of Da Nang. It was opened on June 1, 2012.
