A ceremony welcoming its 6 millionth passenger was held at Da Nang International Airport in Da Nang central city on November 24.

The lucky visitor is Pham Van Tai, Vice director of Chu Lai – Truong Hai Automobile Manufacturing and Assembly Complex in the central coastal province of Quang Nam. He received a pair of return Business Class tickets of Vietnam Airlines from Vietnam to an Asian country.
The 5,999,999th and 6,000,001th passengers, Le Duy Hiep of Transimex Saigon – Huu Nghi Joint Stock Company and Nguyen Van Tuan of Song Thu Mechanical Joint Stock Company, were also offfered pairs of return Business Class tickets on domestic flights of Vietnam Airlines.
The event marks the moment when the airport has exploited its maximum design capacity of six million passengers per year, said Deputy Director of Da Nang International Airport To Ngoc Hai.
