So far, it has hosted 20 death anniversaries of hero Nguyen Trung Truc and become the locals’ address to practice their beliefs as well as a tourist destination among domestic and international visitors.

The house was recognized as a provincial-level cultural and historical relic site in 2011.

Ho Chi Minh City-based Cityland Company spent VND 30 billion to upgrade the facility.

Hero Nguyen Trung Truc was the leader of an uprising in the resistance war against French colonialists in the late 19th century in the South. He achieved several big feats of arms, including the burning of the French ship Espérance in 1861.
