PANO – The 14th National Singing Contest for Students will be held for students from 18-28 years old in the three regions of Vietnam, as announced at a press briefing by the Ministry of Education and Training (MoET); the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on November 24th in Hanoi.
Accordingly, the Northern region’s qualifying round will be organized at the Hanoi University of Construction from November 24th to 29th, while the Central region’s qualifying round will be held from December 1st to 5th at Da Nang University. Finally the Southern region’s round will be held from December 9th to 14th at the Ho Chi Minh College of Culture, Arts and Tourism.
Speaking at the press briefing, Head of MoET’s Department of Students Affairs Ngu Duy Anh held that the biennial contest aims to create a useful playing ground, improve aesthetic education and encourage the arts at schools for students.
At the final, the organizing panel will present two first, two second, and four third prizes to participating teams, as well as 20 gold, 25 silver and 40 bronze medals to the best performances.
