Cambodia Culture Week to be held in Ho Chi Minh City and Soc Trang

The event aims to strengthen cultural exchanges between the two countries.

NDO – The Cambodia Culture Week 2015 is scheduled to be held in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern province of Soc Trang from November 8-14.

During the week-long event, a series of art performances featuring dances and songs imbued with traditional Cambodian culture, and numerous exhibitions will be organised.

The event aims to strengthen cultural exchanges between the two countries by helping Vietnamese people better understand Cambodian people and their customs.

It also seeks to promote the traditional solidarity and friendship between Vietnamese and Cambodian peoples.

The event is jointly organised by the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism and the Cambodia Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts.
