Various activities to celebrate 70 years for traditional day of culture

(Cinet)- On Augsut 19, in Hanoi, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a press seminar to celebrate 70 year for Traditional Day of Culture and 2^nd Congress of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Deputy Minister Huynh Vinh Ai hosted the press seminar.

The meeting to celebrate 70 years for Traditional Day of Culture and the sencond congress of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will take place on Augsut 22 at the Hanoi Opera House.

The concert ” Autumn melodies” will take place on August 26 in My Dinh stadium in Hanoi. It is the first time that Vietnam Orchestra Symphony performs at the stadium. The concert will cover various art genres such as symphony orchestra, ensemble music, dance and vocal music. The festival attracts some professional artists until now, which contributes and devotes a development of Vietnamese and international arts as well as gains some achievements at the competition. The program will consist of some songs of war, renewal and construction of the country in integration and develop of 70 years. In particular, the program is a part to honor some masterpieces by Beethoven, Brahms and Bach with the participation of top-notch international violinist Stephane Tran Ngoc from France and under the baton of overseas Vietnamese conductor Le Phi Phi from Macedonia.

Socio-economic achievement exhibition 2015 with the topic of “Reform, Integration and Development” is one of some activities to welcome the 70th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2). The 15,000-square-metre exhibit sprawling both indoors and outdoors will present outstanding socio-economic achievements under the leadership of the Party and State over the past 70 years, stretching over four display sections represented by ministries, agencies, localities and businesses.

The exhibition will focus on introducing and honoring Communist Party of Viet Nam and President Ho Chi Minh; the position of Viet Nam in the globalization context; typical socio-economic achievements; potential and advantages of tourism development of Viet Nam; materials, images on the maritime borders protection; national socio-economic development strategy until 2020 and vision to 2030; socio-economic achievements of the country in all fields under the leadership of the Party and State. Ha Noi will join the exhibition with a display area of 150-200m2.

Side events will include a seminar, music performances and publicity campaigns that will enable exhibitors to introduce investment opportunities, new policies and products. On the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the cultural sector (August 28), the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism also asked the provincial and municipal Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism to hold exhibitions featuring its history and achievements since its inception in museums and relic sites nationwide this month.

The secind congress consists of propagandizing to introduce some great achievements of the industry; develop some fields of culture, sports and tourism; adjusting stele of historical relic sites; film-making to celebrate 70 years for traditional day of culture and organizing free entrances for some museums.
