The monument of Dao Tri Tombstone and Temple location is the evidence of a historical celebrity of Phu Yen land, who was involved in the historical events of Vietnamese people in the 19th century.
Dao Tri Tomb is now located behind Tan Thanh village, on the northeast slopes of Hon Vung mountain, with an elevation of 20 meters above the sea level, about 300 meters from National Highway No.1. The Location is in the land of Mr. Dao Van, whose house is approximately 1km to the north of the Tomb. Dao Tri Temple was destroyed by the war, the remain is the foundation of only an 7,2mx8m area…
Addressing at the ceremony for being recognized as the National historic site, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Community, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc An confirmed, Grave and Temple site of Dao Tri bears an enormous cultural and historical significance. To promote its historic value, the Provincial People’s Committee proposed Song Cau town People’s Committee to collaborate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and related sectors to promote the tasks of propagating and introducing the value of the monument; strengthen managing and protecting monuments; research and plan the project for preserving, renovating, restoring the monument so that the ruins can become the spot for learning, researching and educating on the tradition. Connecting the Monument with the other relics in Xuan Dai bay area and surroundings will form the sightseeing routes in the province.
