VietNamNet Bridge – A vegetable farm in Cu Chi District in Ho Chi Minh City has organized classes for tourists who want to work as farmers and chefs. More than 1,000 foreign visitors join the classes each month.

This is a new eco-tourism program in the city. Visitors will be instructed to plant popular vegetables and fruit in Vietnam. The fruits of lessons are tasty dishes prepared by students.

The farm has rice fields to help visitors learn more about major food crops in Vietnam.

After being guided by instructors, tourists played the role of farmers to plant and harvest traditional vegetables and fruits of Vietnam, including peanuts, shallots, eggplant and beans.

Tan said this farm has been operating for two years, planting the most popular vegetables and fruit in Vietnam. All products are organic.
