(CPV) – The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has sent an official dispatch asking heads of their units, directors of departments of tourism, departments of culture, sports and tourism to ensure safety and security for tourists on National Day (September 2nd). (Source: CPV) Accordingly, the ministry asked their units and localities to seriously follow the Prime Minister’s instruction 14/CT-TTg on enhancing state management effectiveness on controlling prices and the quality of services to ensure environmental hygiene, food safety and security for tourists. Travel businesses were urged to enhance activities to popularize traffic safety and solutions to prevent traffic accidents on the holiday. The ministry will coordinate with relevant agencies to arrange forces to check and ensure traffic safety at tourist destinations. In addition, travel businesses and wharfs were urged to have suitable and flexible transportation plans to meet the travel demand of foreign and domestic tourists./.
