HA NOI — Thai Son Nam won the HCM City Futsal Open tournament on July 19, defeating Sanna Khanh Hoa 4-0 at the Phu Tho Gymnasium.
With this win, Thai Son Nam paid off their debt, having lost 1-5 to Khanh Hoa in the group stage last week.
“Sanna Khanh Hoa are a strong team who beat us three times in our latest jousts. But we did our best and strived to win. We are now very happy,” said captain Nguyen Bao Quan.
In the play-off for third-place, Hai Phuong Nam beat Thai Son Bac 4-3.
Nguyen Van Trung of Hai Phuong Nam remains the best scorer with seven goals. Tran Van Vu of the champion team is the best player. Sanna Khanh Hoa’s Nguyen Dinh Y Hoa is the best goalkeeper. — VNS
