Earlier, a Facebook group called for financial support to buy sports equipment for naval soldiers serving in the Truong Sa Islands (Spratly Islands). Learning the information, Nghia was so moved that he offered to donate the sports equipment that the group ordered from his company. He shared, “I felt the warm sentiment and love from the mainland for the naval soldiers on far-off islands. Therefore, I decided to donate the equipment as my modest gift to the island soldiers.”

Nghia also revealed that if possible in the coming time he would encourage his friends in his table tennis club to organize a friendly table tennis tournament with the naval soldiers.
