Following a three-month closure for luxury upgrade, Park Hyatt Saigon is now ready to welcome back guests from June 14, 2015. All restaurants, including Square One, Opera and Park Lounge, opened their doors from 5 p.m. June 12, 2015 with redesigned menus of new, exquisite dishes.
Redefined luxury returns at Park Hyatt Saigon
Thanks to the Luxury Redefinition project, Park Hyatt Saigon has brought a new expression of luxury to Saigon. Whilst the signature French colonial feel is maintained, a bright color palette of white and ivory has been added to the public areas and Park Lounge, transforming the entire place into a fresh and sophisticated sanctuary of peace. Guests can immediately feel the difference at the moment they walk in. Crystal chandeliers shining and reflecting sunlight coming through the high windows, eclectic hand-crafted furniture in Park Lounge featuring a lively mix of different patterns, colors and shapes give the whole venue a brand new look, yet still keeps its timeless beauty, which the hotel is known for.
Park Hyatt Saigon’s 245 rooms and suites have also been completely upgraded. Now featuring a refreshing white coat and luxurious artistic elements coming from Vietnamese artworks, they perfectly blend traditional comforts with latest modern technology such as in-room iPads, Nespresso machines, sensor lighting system and a very sophisticated central air conditioning control. New room types have also been added to the hotel’s room inventory.
An Oasis of Peace
One of the focuses of this renovation, the pool and the outdoor garden have been truly transformed into a green oasis of peace in the middle of this bustling city. The garden now features a romantic pathways and space for outdoor dining amidst the lush landscape and beautiful arches of vines. Several cabanas with seating for dining and sunbeds were built, allowing guests to enjoy true relaxation under the sun. The swimming pool was also redesigned with thousands of hand-crafted mosaic pieces and a more dramatic lighting system at night. Deluxe suites have been added to this floor, which provide a private terrace filled with a green garden, a coffee table and lounge chairs.
Innovative meeting concept
An innovative meeting concept that is truly unique and first-of-its-kind in the city will be introduced together with new venues for events and functions. Discover the Pool House or the Guest House, which includes five Drawing Rooms and The Study, with Drawing Room 1 boasting a show kitchen, and all spaces boasting the latest technology aspects.
The Pool House, located on the 3rd floor, awaits its visitors with stunning views across the lush gardens and the elegant pool. Boasting floor-to-ceiling windows, it is supported by a private BBQ area, which allows for unique and intimate events.
Familiar Restaurants with new menus
From 5 p.m. on June 12, 2015, Square One, Opera and Park Lounge at Park Hyatt Saigon started welcoming back guests for dinner. All three restaurants and lounges were upgraded with brand new menus, offerings and dishes.
Park Lounge’s transformation is the most dramatic of all and it now features new savory items and dessert together amid its redesigned ambiance. The famous afternoon tea concept remains, but is enhanced by the new Bollinger champagne. Square One has added more traditional Vietnamese dishes such as crab noodle soup, chicken curry in clay pot and traditional salads. Its Western collection was extensively enhanced with new signature dishes from the new chef, Jamie Celaya, offering more choices on the steak and grill items. The traditional Sunday brunch in Opera now becomes the Italian Sunday Feast, where an extravagance of authentic Italian flavors are offered with ice cold Bollinger champagne. New direct access from the street has been introduced as well, providing much comfort and convenience to casual diners.
Embracing Vietnamese culture in every detail
Traditional Vietnamese artworks and photography are displayed in every corner of Park Hyatt Saigon. Premium museum-quality paintings from established Vietnamese artists are displayed throughout the hotel, including collaterals such as room keys, welcome cards and banqueting menus. Guests can clearly feel Vietnamese culture being expressed and shared in every step they make.
Mystical Xuan Spa will adopt a new concept that fully embraces the Mekong Delta’s essences, such as fresh herbs, local grains and fruits.
Unique and Intimate Experiences
During the time the hotel was closed, Park Hyatt Saigon’s associates underwent several comprehensive training and development programs to bring the service standard to a new level. Personal skills and knowledge were further enhanced to make certain that a journey with unique and intimate experiences will unfold when guests return to the hotel.
