Presenting the insignia to Chistian Bourgoignie (Source: nhandan.com.vn) The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has presented the insignia “For the Cause of Culture, Sports and Tourism” to Christian Bourgoignie, head of the Wallonie-Bruxelles delegation in Hanoi. The insigina aimed to recoginze his contribution to promotion of co-operation between Vietnam and Belgium’s French speaking community in the field of culture, sports and tourism. Working in Vietnam from 2012 to mid-July 2015, Bourgoignie worked closely with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to successfully carry out cultural projects as well as activities which aimed to promote co-operation between Vietnam and Wallonie-Bruxelles (the French speaking community in Belgium) in different sectors of cinema, fine arts, museum, and music, in addition to contemporary dance art, sculpture. He coordinated with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize Francophone film festival, European film festival, Hanoi sound stuff festival, Hue festival, the moonsoon music festival and Asian-Europe contemporary dance festival. Apart from inviting Vietnamese artists to perform in Belgium, he has helped artistes from Belgium’s French speaking community and Vietnam to exchange, share experiences and perform together./. |
