HA NOI (VNS) — HCM City won the National Youth Shuttlecock Tournament that ended in Thua Thien Hue on July 28.
The team won seven gold, three silver and six bronze medals. Dong Thap came second with three gold, six silver and five bronze medals. The third place went to Bac Giang that won three gold, four silver and seven bronze medals.
Nearly 200 players from 11 teams nationwide such as Da Nang, Hai Phong, Nghe An and Phu Tho competed in boys’ and girls’ singles, doubles and trio events in different age groups during the nine-day event.
The event’s best players will be selected for the national team to compete in the coming international tournaments. — VNS
