(VOVworld) – The 28th Southeast Asian Games concluded on Tuesday in Singapore’s National Stadium after 11 days of competition between the region’s top athletes.

Vietnamese female swimmer Nguyen Thi Anh Vien wins 8 gold medals and breaks 8 SEA Games records at the SEA Games 28 in Singapore.

Several performances featuring world renowned DJ Ferry Corsten and Singaporean artists were presented at the event. This year’s organisers will hand the SEA Games traditional flag to Malaysian sports officials, the next hosts of the SEA Games 29 in 2017. Vietnam’s sports delegation ranked 3rd in the medal table with 73 gold medals, following Thailand and Singapore.
