RoK to provide free cancer consultancy and treatment in Hanoi Related image(s)
| The Korea Tourism Organization in Vietnam will coordinate with the National Hospital of Traditional Medicine to organize a programme on providing free cancer consultancy and treatment to patients in Hanoi on June 20th.
With the participation of nine Korean experts and two Vietnamese experts, patients will have an opportunity to approach advanced methods of treatment currently available in the RoK and Vietnam.

(Photo: The Korea Tourism Organization) According to the Department of Examination and Treatment under the Ministry of Health, about 75,000 people die of cancer in Vietnam each year. This number is estimated to incessantly increase with even the young at the age of 20 and children suffering from the disease. The programme will not only provide the opportunity for cancer patients to approach advanced treatment but also for experts in treating cancers from the two countries to exchange and share experiences in its prevention and treatment. The programme will take place from 9a.m to 4p.m on June 20th at the National Institute of Traditional Medicine./. |
