Houses for A.O victims

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hue – Chairman of the Quang Ngai provincial Fishermen’s Support Fund on May 27 granted VND 250 million to construct 5 houses for Agent Orange (A.O) victims as fishermen meeting difficulties in housing. ​

Accordingly, each A.O victim will receive VND 50 million to build a new house to stabilize the accommodation, continue clinging the traditional sea waters for marine manufacturing, protecting the sea-island sovereignty of the country.

The beneficiaries are from Tinh Khe, Nghia An communes (Quang Ngai City), Binh Hai, Binh Thuan communes (Binh Son district) and Pho Chau commune (Duc Pho district).

In 2014, the Quang Ngai provincial Fishermen’s Support Fund also granted VND 250 million to Provincial Association for Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin to carry out the house construction for fishmen as A.O victims in the province.
