Green tourism week launched in Can Tho

PANO – The Mekong Delta Green Tourism Week 2015 opened on June 29th in Can Tho City, in the presence of senior Party and State officials.

The event is co-organized by the Southwest Region Steering Committee, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Can Tho Municipal People’s Committee.

It aims to promote local tourism, popularize tourism potentials and special tourism products in coordination with environmental protection and sustainable development.

It will cover a series of events, notably a conference on Mekong Delta’s green tourism development and a meeting on investment attraction, with the participation of the regional consul generals, consulates and international organizations.
