The concert will feature the symphonic poem “Till Eulenspiegel’s merry pranks” by German composer Richard Strauss.
Stories of Till Eulenspiegel will be told by a narrator as well as be conveyed through music.
Eulenspiegel is famous for never taking neither himself nor his fellows too serious but looking at life from a humoristic point of view.
The narrator is sometimes a fool, sometimes a superhero, and especially, children are welcome to participate and even invited to be a conductor.
In March, “Till Eulenspiegel’s merry pranks” was performed for the first time by the VNSO in Vietnam in Hanoi.
The family concert will start at 8 p.m. at the VNAM, 77 Hao Nam Street, Hanoi.
Tickets for the show cost VND100,000 (US$9.17) per child and VND200,000 per adult and are available at Hanoi Opera House, 1 Trang Tien Street, VNAM Concert Hall, Sketch Travel Hanoi, 3th floor, Lancaster Hanoi Tower, 20 Nui Truc Street, Ba Dinh District, and P Shop, 8 Nha Chung Street.
